Lucinda

I invited her over to my place in the evening. She already knew I had small pets at home before coming.

After a short chat, I could tell she was tense and uneasy. She only had a glass of white wine, the whole time. Soon, she said she couldn’t settle into the atmosphere and wanted to leave.

I asked her what was bothering her, but she didn’t explain much. I gave her money for taxi before she left, and she headed off shortly after accepting it.

She seems gentle in nature, yet she knows exactly what she wants and sticks to her boundaries. Even though I am fairly well-off, she refused to force herself to stay in an uncomfortable situation.

We just didn’t click in the end. I can’t help but feel disappointed.
