To stimulate giving feedback on the services offered on this site, and to keep the member database lean and clean, a karma system is in place. You earn 'Contribution' points for the new content you publish that gets approved - reviews, news items, forum topics, comments and replies. You earn 'Credibility' points for every review that gets approved. Both together determine your overall karma level.
To keep it simple, the levels are represented as Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. When you register on this website, you start at Bronze level. Your level is shown as a row of stars below your avatar next to everything you write.
Getting to Silver is quick: it requires 10 points in either 'Contribution' or 'Credibility' - a single approved review gets you there, and so do two approved news items or forum topics.
Getting to Gold requires at least 50 points in 'Contribution' and at least 50 points in 'Credibility'. Unlike Silver, these levels take sustained contribution - that is on purpose, they are meant for the regulars who keep this site alive.
Platinum requires at least 150 points in both - and once you get there, it is yours for good. Platinum never drops back down, even if your points expire, and a Platinum account stays on this site permanently.
Positive reviews give a tremendous boost to an escort girl's popularity, yet only rarely does a guy take the trouble of writing one. We want to recognize and reward the people who do go through the effort. Points are awarded the moment a post is approved: an approved news item, forum topic, comment or reply earns 5 Contribution points, an approved review earns 20 Contribution points plus Credibility points on top. Fake or sloppy posts that do not get approved earn nothing. Reviews should be constructive and informative.
The Credibility award scales with your level - the philosophy is that reviews from senior members are worth more than reviews from a junior. A review from a Bronze member earns 10 Credibility points, Silver 20, Gold 30 and Platinum 40.
Only registered members earn points. You can still post anonymously, but anonymous posts award nothing - and each post can only ever pay out once, no matter how often it is edited.
Points are valid for one year. After that they expire and your level may drop. Like everything else in life, the value of a review fades over time - it would not be fair for someone who reviewed a girl years ago to outrank the members contributing today.
Your points also keep your account alive. A new member has 180 days to earn their first points; an account whose points have all expired is frozen and eventually removed - this keeps the member database lean and membership to people who help out. Members who visit the site regularly are never removed, points or not - and Platinum members are never removed at all, whether they visit or not. You will be warned (by notification, and by e-mail if you have a verified address on file) a week before your account would expire. Your current expiry date is always visible under Preferences.
